Question 1

Does it cost anything to list a business on Audada?

Accepted Answer

No. Posting, editing, refreshing and marking a business sold are all free, and a listing stays up for 90 days with one-click renewal. Paid options such as a featured listing are optional; skipping them does not hide your listing.

Question 2

Do buyers pay to contact sellers?

Accepted Answer

No. Once signed in, buyers can see the phone number or WeChat the seller made public, or send a message on the site. We never charge buyers to unlock contact details.

Question 3

I don't want staff or regulars to know I'm selling. What can I do?

Accepted Answer

Keep the business name and street address private and show only the suburb. Buyers must request the private details and promise confidentiality; they only see them after you approve.

Question 4

How is the price-to-profit ratio worked out?

Accepted Answer

Asking price ÷ yearly net profit on the same basis, from the seller's figures — only once the basis (owner's wage taken out or not, owner-run or managed) is confirmed. It is not a forecast of your return: stock, deal and finance costs are not in it. Always check BAS, POS reports and the lease before you buy.

Question 5

What does "Verified" mean?

Accepted Answer

The seller asked for a document check and our staff compared the lease and recent trading records (BAS or POS reports) with the listing. It confirms the documents match what was entered; it is not a guarantee of the business's quality or price.

Question 6

Can brokers list businesses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose "Broker" when posting and add your agency name; buyers filtering for owner listings will not see broker listings. Brokers who post often can apply for the broker plan.
